I. OBJECTIVE

1. To provide guidelines on the proper receiving of cheque or cash deposit slip from dealers

III. GENERAL POLICIES

Warehouse Staff must check and validate the given cheque or cash deposit slip in the filed photocopy of bank certificates. Important details to check are the following:
a) For Cheque:
• Account Name and Account Number must be accredited by GJVI
• Date of pick up is the same date written in the cheque
• Correct signature specimen
• Correct spelling of GJVI
• Correct amount to be paid (billing charges)

b) For Cash Deposit Slip:
• Correct GJVI Account Number: 002258000682
• Correct spelling of GJVI: Generous and Joyous Ventures Inc.
• Correct amount to be paid (billing charges)
• Date of cash deposit should not be after the date of pick up

If it is correct, provide the dealer or authorized person with a priority number. If it is incorrect, return the cheque to the dealer and inform them that no transaction will be done.

Additional Reminders:
1) Writings must be legible
2) No erasures must be found in the cheque or cash deposit slip
3) Name and ID of authorized person to pick up stocks must be validated, especially if he/she is a representative of the dealer
4) Bank Cheques not accredited by GJVI shall not be accepted
5) Dealers who originally use cash deposit slip but suddenly pays in cheque shall be allowed as long as it is accredited by GJVI
6) Warehouse is not allowed to receive cash payments
