III. GENERAL POLICIES
Rules:
a) Supervisor and Team Leader
• Supervisors and Team Leaders shall manage his or her schedule per cut-off, as applicable.
• Rest days must be set during days when the operation of his or her outlets is generally at slowest.
• Rest days must never fall on Monday. Supervisors and Team Leaders are expected to go to the head office during Monday.
• Roving of outlets must be well-planned and based on the specific needs of each outlet handled.
• Minimum number of visits in every outlet must be set by computing it based on the number of days present and the average number of outlets that is roved in a day.
• There must be no routine or pattern in the store visit. No specific day and/or time must be set for roving each outlet.
b) Service Crew
• Supervisors shall manage the schedule of their Service Crews (SC) per cut-off.
• Assignment of SC in every outlet must be carefully assessed.
• Ample number of Service Crew must be assigned to each outlet, especially during peak days.
• Service Crews with higher pay rate must be maximized as they are expected to have the maturity and better performance. For example, if an outlet can be manned by a single SC for the whole day, then assign a Service Crew with higher pay to work at the said outlet to ensure that quality service will be achieved.
Additional Guidelines:
1. Ensure that the outlets are well-manned during peak hours. Break time must never be scheduled the same time as the outlet’s peak hours.
2. If it cannot be helped that a Service Crew must be assigned to do the banking of his/her outlet and/or another outlet, Supervisor or Team Leader must assign the least performing but trusted SC to do the task.
3. Assignment of SCs to mall outlets must not be limited to those who already have a mall ID. Supervisors and Team Leaders may assign anyone whom they think is suitable to work in the mall outlet and get them the necessary ID that they need. Supervisors and Team Leaders must also have all the IDs they need to rove their outlets.
4. For BBT, high performing SCs must be trained with Special Drinks under the supervision of the Supervisor. This is to assign them to outlets with special menu or offerings.
5. OJT of trainees must be scheduled on outlet where the Supervisor or Team Leader has roving schedule for better supervision and further evaluation.
6. All office meetings, renewal of contracts, or other work-related appointments must be scheduled properly before making the schedule. Get the list of SCs who will need to renew their contract within the next cut-off period to make the necessary adjustments, among others.
7. Assign buffers for unexpected events or emergencies.
