I. OBJECTIVE
1. To provide guidelines in managing the users and their access in the company system website
II. DEFINITION OF TERMS

III. GENERAL POLICIES
To manage the users of the website, log-in to the company system website.
Add New User:
1. On the Dashboard (home page), see the left side toolbar and point the cursor to “PrivateContent” tab. Options will appear, choose “Add User”.
2. Input the user data: Name, Surname, Username and Password; skip E-mail and Telephone.
3. At the “Disable user private page” option, choose “Yes”.
4. The User Category option at the right side of the page will help dictate and restrict the access levels of the user or the pages that the user is authorized to access. Choose the applicable option by clicking it to “Yes”.
5. Finally, click “Add User” to save the new account.
Note: Generate an 8-character password using a password generator application. Passwords must consist of letters (capital and small) and numbers jumbled together.
Edit User:
1. On the Dashboard (home page), see the left side toolbar and point the cursor to “PrivateContent” tab. Options will appear, choose “All users”.
2. Look for the account (of the user) that you wish to edit.
3. On the right-side corner of the page, there are 3 icons: Edit, Disable, and Delete. Choose “Edit”.
4. Input the needed modifications. Then click “Update User” to save.
Disable or Delete User:
1. On the Dashboard (home page), see the left side toolbar and point the cursor to “PrivateContent” tab. Options will appear, choose “All users”.
2. Look for the account (of the user) that you wish to edit.
3. On the right-side corner of the page, there are 3 icons: Edit, Disable, and Delete.
a. Choose “Disable” to temporarily restrict the user from logging in on the website.
b. Choose “Delete” to permanently delete the user account.
Note: When an employee is no longer connected to the company, it is preferred to have his/her user account be “disabled”. This is to re-use the account by maintaining the password while modifying the other user data and user category.
