2. To provide guidelines on the policy of securing exit clearance of an employee

III. GENERAL POLICIES

An employee who intended to resign from work must submit a letter of resignation to Human Resources Department and Immediate Superior, at least thirty (30) days prior to its effective date. Employees are expected to turnover their tasks and accountabilities, and settle their obligations during this period. Failure to comply with the said policy, the company shall cancel and/or shall not process the post employment clearance of the employee and convert and/or use the employee’s last salary as payment for expenses incurred by the company brought about by the violations committed.

Securing of Exit Clearance
• Employee must secure clearance from agency and GJVI. Personnel shall be the last signatory.
• Employee must return all uniform/supplies owned by the company; clearance shall not be processed until all items are returned.
• Personnel shall make a summary list of employees who are already cleared.
• Whoever is the last person to sign the clearance without checking the details will be charged with the employee’s accountabilities.
• After 15 days, Personnel must follow up if the cleared employees already get their salary.
