I. OBJECTIVE
1. To provide a standard format on the creation of the Body of a manual
2. To provide guidelines in the creation of Manual Body that is consistent throughout the department’s manual
II. DEFINITION OF TERMS
1. Manual Body – contains specific policies, guidelines, and procedures related to the document being discussed.
III. GENERAL POLICIES
The Manual Body appears in the following format:
(1) Objective, defines the purpose of the document.
(2) Definition of Terms, lists the terms that are defined according to its designated usage in the document.
(3) General Policies, discusses the policy and the guidelines pertaining to the process.
(4) Procedures Flowchart, shows the flow of process using flow chart symbols.
(5) References/Interface Processes, lists other documents that is referred to in the policy or procedure.
(6) Forms/Records/Reports, lists the forms, records and reports supporting the implementation of the policy and procedure.
